This site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This statement sets out what that means in practice, what has been tested, and what to do if something does not work for you.
Conformance status
LPB Law Group aims for lpblawgroup.com to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility is treated as a build requirement rather than a retrofit, and is tested as part of every release.
What that means on this site
- Contrast. Body text meets or exceeds 4.5:1 against its background; large text and interface components meet 3:1. Contrast is measured, not estimated, and colour is never the only way information is conveyed.
- Text size. Body copy is set at 18px minimum and never shrinks below that on small screens. The page can be zoomed to 200% without horizontal scrolling.
- Keyboard. Everything usable with a mouse is usable with a keyboard. Focus is always visible, and a skip-to-content link is the first item in the tab order.
- Structure. Pages use real headings in order, real lists, and real tables with proper header cells — so a screen reader can navigate by structure.
- Motion. There is almost none, and what exists respects
prefers-reduced-motion. No content is hidden behind an animation. - Forms. Every field has a real label. Errors are described in text, not by colour alone, and are announced to assistive technology.
- Touch targets. Interactive elements are at least 44 by 44 pixels.
- Figures. Diagrams are built from text and HTML rather than images, so their content is selectable, translatable, and readable by a screen reader.
Testing
The site is tested with automated accessibility auditing on each release, and manually for keyboard navigation and screen-reader structure. Automated testing catches a useful share of problems but not all of them, which is why the next section matters.
